Birzulis, a leading civil and structural engineering consultancy with offices in Sydney and Newcastle, is seeking an enthusiastic Trainee Structural Revit Draftsperson to join our growing team. About the Role:
As a Trainee Structural Revit Draftsperson, you’ll be immersed in our collaborative approach to finding the most efficient engineering solutions. You’ll receive comprehensive training in structural drafting using Revit while working on exciting projects across education, aged care, and hospitality sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and develop proficiency in Revit software for structural drafting
- Assist senior draftspersons and engineers in producing detailed structural drawings
- Participate in our collaborative project pod structure, contributing to efficient design solutions
- Prepare and modify drawings under supervision
- Support documentation for projects ranging from $10-20 million
- Maintain drawing standards and quality control processes
- Contribute to our culture of continuous improvement and efficiency
Who You Are:
- Currently completing or recently completed an Engineering Drafting TAFE course
- Enthusiastic about structural engineering and design efficiency
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Eager to learn and grow professionally
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
- Basic understanding of structural engineering principles
- Committed to finding better, more efficient solutions
